“Marcello Pipitone was born in Bonola in the Milanese suburbs. Since he was a child he was attracted to art thanks to the stories of ancient Greece, and the paintings of his painter grandfather, his aunt who was an architect and his parents. Living in a small room with his older brother, he learnt a lot from him. After missing a year at the scientific high school, it so happened that the Boccioni art school had a place for him and he concluded his studies in graphic design. He also concluded his sports career after 12 years of competitive sport (basketball and athletics). In basketball he learnt to work as a team and in athletics he learnt to work for himself. After setting up a dog-sitter company, a techno party in Milanese clubs and an illegal resale of shoes, he decided to enroll at the fashion university where he founds his equilibrium”. (M. Pipitone)
